Matters needing attention
1. Requirements for fumigation of wooden furniture:

(2) fumigated goods must be shown in detail on the fumigation certificate
Note: after fumigation, there will be no damage to the goods, there will be a little smell (generally will dissipate after 5 days), for the goods without fumigation treatment, the customs will repatriate or destroy on site and fine
2. Calculation method of tax:
(1) details of GST tax and tariff collection for Australian imports:
Import GST= (value of goods + sea freight (20USD/CBM)+ insurance + tariff) x 10%
Tariff = rate (5%-10%) x value of goods
(2) special note: according to Australian customs regulations, if the value of the goods is less than 1000AUD, the import GST tax, customs duty and customs system fee of 100AUD can be exempted;
3. Tax exemption conditions:
(1) hold Australian green card, and ** transport furniture within five years
(2) the quantity of used goods accounts for more than 80%

注意事项
1. 木质家具熏蒸要求:
(1)木质包装不得有树皮或霉菌。
(2)熏蒸后的货物必须在熏蒸证书上详细说明
注:熏蒸后，货物不会损坏，会有一点异味(一般5天后会消散)，对于未经熏蒸处理的货物，海关会将其遣返或现场销毁并罚款
2. 纳税计算方法:
(1)澳大利亚进口商品的消费税和关税征收情况:
进口商品服务税=(货值+海运费(20美元/立方米)+保险+关税)x 10%
关税=税率(5%-10%)x货物价值
(2)特别说明:根据澳大利亚海关规定，货物价值在1000澳元以下的，免征进口消费税、关税和100澳元的海关系统费;
3.免税条件:
(1)持有澳大利亚绿卡，五年内**运输家具
(2)旧货数量占80%以上
